Join us to meet the candidates running for your HOA! 
Thursday, February 6 at 7pm

The Quail Valley Fund is the HOA that services most of Quail Valley.  The Fund has 7 directors, and three of those positions are up for election this year.  As part of that process, Quail Valley Proud hosts a “Meet the Candidates” night, allowing Fund homeowners to ask questions of the candidates for the three open Board positions.

Our Meet the Candidates event is scheduled for Thursday, February 6 at 7 PM at the Quail Valley Fund office located at 3603 Glenn Lakes.  There are four candidates running for the 3 positions.  A short bio of each is included below.  Join us to hear why they are running for the HOA.


Ramond Howard

Ramond has lived in Quail Valley Fund for 40 years and attended 2 board meetings in the past year. Ramond is a retired attorney. Raymond has a sincere desire to work towards a better quality of life in Quail Valley. Ramond’s long-term experience in Quail Valley provides him with the background to perform competently as a Trustee.

Allen Owen

Allen and his wife Jane have lived in QV for 26 years and Missouri City for 49 years. Allen has attended 

12 board meetings in the past year. Allen is the current Secretary for Quail Valley Fund. Allen is the former Mayor, Council Member, Planning -Zoning Commissioner of Missouri City. Allen has been an elected community official for 32 years.

Steve Rubin

Steve has lived in Quail Valley Fund for 25 years and attended 12 board meetings in the past year. Steve was active in the Quail Valley Country Club and President of the MGA in 2008. Steve is currently Trustee of the Board of Trustees. Steve’s background in design can definitely offer and be beneficial in helping to make Quail Valley a great neighborhood to live in.

Barbara Thompson

Barbara has lived in Quail Valley for approximately 40 years and has attended 12 board meetings in the 

past year. Barbara is currently the Treasurer on the QV Board and has been a board member for 6 years. Barbara, as a Master Gardener, plans to enhance the beautification of Quail Valley Fund as she has done on Glenn Lakes, Hampton and El Dorado.
